Presentation File Format

  • The first page of the presentation file should be allocated to the title, authors, and contact email as stated in the submitted abstract.

Font Presenters are recommended to use standard Windows fonts (font size: 14 points).
* If you use fonts other than those provided by Windows, you should bring the font file(s) onsite along with your presentation file(s).

How to Submit Your Presentation File

  • Bring your PowerPoint presentation file on a USB memory stick and visit the preview lounge to submit the file at least 2 hours before your session starts.
    * Please note that usage of individual laptops is not permitted.

Equipment

  • Session rooms will be equipped with a computer running Windows (not Mac), projector and microphone.
  • The podium will be equipped with a monitor, microphone, mouse, and timer.
  • We recommend that you DO NOT use your own laptop computer (in particular MacBooks) for your presentation(s) to avoid computer-projector compatibility issues.

Presenting Time for Oral Presentation

  • Presentations will be conducted onsite in a session room at a designated date and time assigned to each presenter.
  • Each presenter will have a total of 10 minutes for their presentation (7-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A) except for those presenting at the Plenary Sessions (Best Papers) and the Vanguard Award Session.
  • Presenters of the Plenary Sessions (Best Papers) and Vanguard Award Session will be allotted a total of 15 minutes (12-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A).

Before Your Presentation

  • Please be sure to keep to the allocated presentation time in consideration of the next speaker(s).
  • Arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins.
  • You will be responsible for controlling/advancing your presentation slides.
