Countries Designated Visa-free Entry

Korea has a special agreement with 112 countries and region for visa-free entry.

Many of the ATW 2024 participants may stay for 30-90 days without a visa.

The organizing committee will provide full support to expedite the visa issuance process for participants not covered by the agreement.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the countries that can enter without a visa may change, so please check with the relevant authorities for details.

Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA)

K-ETA is mandatory for nationals from visa-free entry countries who enter Korea without a visa. You should apply for the K-ETA at least 72 hours prior to boarding the flight bound for the Republic of Korea. You can apply for K-ETA website ( www.k-eta.go.kr ) or mobile app (K-ETA).

Notice

  • In celebration of ‘Visit Korea Year (2023~2024)’, K-ETA has been temporarily exempted to 22 countries/regions from April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024 (KST). Please note that nationals of 22 countries/regions can still apply for K-ETA, and K-ETA application fee is 10,000 KRW/per person (around 9~10 USD, additional fees not included). Those who have the K-ETA are not required to submit an arrival card at the port of arrival.
  • List of 22 countries/regions eligible for temporary exemption of K-ETA: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macao, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, US (including Guam)

If you need an invitation letter to obtain a visa, please refer to the below:

  • The official invitation letter will be available to ONLY those who have completed registration payment.
  • The letter is not a commitment on the part of the organizer to provide any financial support.
Printing an invitation letter through the ATW 2024 website
  • Please access ‘My Page – Registration’ with your registered ID and PW and click on Invitation Letter’ to print out a copy of original invitation letter.
Notarized Invitation Letter
  • Request will be processed as a part of the online registration system. USD 60 will be charged for the notary service and air courier letters will be sent by airmail within two weeks after confirmation of your full payment. Please check with the Korean Embassy in your country whether a notarized letter is required for visa issuance.
